Tribehenin is composed of glycerin and behenic acid, a naturally occurring long-chain fatty acid. Tribehenin is a triglyceride derived from behenic acid (C22). It is a very soft, non-crystalline wax that can be used to modify the properties of other waxes by softening their structure and reducing crystallinity and rigidity. It has a melting point of 61-62 °C (141.8-144 °F).
Multifunctional Cosmetic Ingredient: Our Tribehenin acts as a high-purity emulsifier and thickener, enhancing the performance of creams, lotions, and makeup formulations. It delivers smooth application, long-lasting stability, and a luxurious skin feel.
